Q Are there any discounts available for GAMSAT?
A  No, there are no concessions or discounts for GAMSAT.

Q Can I have the Information Book posted to me?
A The GAMSAT Information Book is not available in hardcopy.

Q How many times can I sit GAMSAT? 
A  There is no limit to the number of times a bona fide candidate may sit GAMSAT.

Q When will I know the location of the test centre?
A  The reporting time and address are provided to candidates on the Admission Ticket.  This is issued to candidates online approximately two weeks before the test.  These details are not available to candidates until Admission Tickets are released.

Q Can I bring a dictionary to the test?
A  If English is not your first language, you are permitted to bring a printed bilingual dictionary into the exam for use in Sections I and II only.  You will need to show this to the supervisor before the test commences.

English-English dictionaries, and electronic dictionaries of any kind, are NOT permitted.

Q Can I bring a calculator to the test?
A  No, calculators are not permitted in any section of the test.

Q How long is the test?
A  The test itself is 5.5 hours and there is a 1 hour lunch break. The registration process and announcements are additional to this time.
