Refund Terms

PLEASE NOTE: Application fees for the 2012 test were refunded on request up to 5.15pm GMT 10 February 2012. An administrative charge of €45 was deducted.

After that date the registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. ACER fulfils its commitment to you by reserving a place for you (which would otherwise be available to another) in GAMSAT and making all necessary preparations (which need to be completed a reasonable time before you sit the GAMSAT) for you to sit the test. If for any reason you are unable to participate in GAMSAT and you fail to notify ACER prior to the above date your registration fee will not be refunded. Please note that access to the preparation material included in this year’s registration will be removed upon completion of the refund.

Should you decide that you do not wish to sit the test in 2012, you may defer your registration to 2013. To defer your registration, log in to your account at https://oars.acer.edu.au/acer and select the ‘manage’ option on your registration. Deferrals must be completed by no later than 5.15pm GMT 10 February 2012. All deferrals will incur an administration fee of €35.

Candidates may defer their test date for the GAMSAT sitting registered for once only. Candidates who have deferred registration may not apply for a refund in the following year. There is no penalty, other than the loss of your fee, if you register for the test but do not sit. Please note that deferred candidates will continue to have access to the preparation material included in this year’s registration for 12 months from the date of when the 2012 test registration was completed.
