Admission to programmes

Please note: the following information is for the 2011 admission cycle.

The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) will be provided with your GAMSAT results and will pass these onto the medical schools you apply to, ensuring invisibility of choice is maintained. If you wish to apply to any of the universities listed below you must apply through UCAS, including any of the 4-year graduate-entry programmes and/or the Peninsula medical programme among your choices.

Swansea A101 (institution code SWAN S93)
Keele A101 (institution code K12)
Peninsula (Dentistry) A201 (institution code PMS P37)
Peninsula (Medicine) A100 (institution code PMS P37)

Please note: you must provide your UCAS identification number to the GAMSAT Office. If you do not have a UCAS number at the time of registering for GAMSAT, you should email it later. If you do not provide your UCAS number, or if you give an incorrect number, this may affect the delivery of your GAMSAT results to the universities.

TIMELINE FOR ADMISSION

By 15 October 2011: submit UCAS application form
By 12 August 2011: complete GAMSAT registration
16 September 2011: Sit GAMSAT
December - April 2012: Interviews for admission
March – April 2012: Offers made to successful applicants
Mid-September 2012: Programmes begin

If you are using a previous GAMSAT score to apply, you must provide this score to UCAS by the 24 October 2011.  UCAS does not hold GAMSAT-Ireland or GAMSAT Australia scores. If you have a score from one of these tests, you must send your score to UCAS by 24 October 2011 to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) . Please include the test and test date, your GAMSAT ID and the verification code that is printed on your results; UCAS will verify your scores with ACER.
