How to calculate your GPA

All local applicants are required to calculate a Grade Point Average (GPA) online. This calculation is designed to convert results from a variety of grading systems around Australia and New Zealand to a common scale ranging from 0 to 7.

Minimum GPAs required for 2010 entry

School	Minimum GPA required
The Australian National University	5.50
Deakin University	weighted GPA of 5.00
Flinders University	weighted GPA is significant component in ranking for offers (no minimum set)
Griffith University	5.00
Monash University	weighted GPA of 5.00
The University of Notre Dame (Fremantle & Sydney)	5.00
The University of Queensland	5.00
The University of Sydney	5.50
The University of Western Australia	5.50
The University of Wollongong	5.00

The Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Sydney	4.00
The Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney	5.50
