Preparation materials

ACER produces the only official GAMSAT preparation materials. There are currently four publications available. These are only available in the form of e-books; hard copies are not available. Candidates who have purchased copies of the publications in recent years will not need to do so again this year.

Practice Test and Practice Test 2 are each equivalent to a full test and each will take approximately 5.5 hours to complete under exam conditions. Answers are given for all questions.

Sample Questions and Practice Questions are shorter publications which contain the same balance of question types found in a full test. Answers are given for all questions and suggested worked solutions are provided for some.

Practice Questions is included in the cost of your 2013 registration.

Though similar in format, the e-books contain different selections of material and are designed to give examples of the types of question, skills and knowledge contained in GAMSAT. Self-analysis of your performance on these materials will give you an indication of your strengths and weaknesses and be a guide to further preparation.

Please note: all GAMSAT practice materials were revised and republished as online materials in 2011-2012. If you have purchased any of our hard copy preparation materials before, it is not necessary to purchase the online versions again.

In order to purchase the practice materials you will need to create a GAMSAT account. This is not a registration for the test. Please note that you cannot purchase these materials without an active account. Prices are listed in the three GAMSAT currencies: Australian Dollar($), Pound Sterling(£) and Euro(€).

Each e-book will be accessible via your account at the ‘materials’ tab as soon as your payment is received successfully.

No refunds will be permitted for the purchase of a GAMSAT e-book.
